HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Warrington Open Door At Christmas

Warrington Open Door At Christmas (WODAC) started in 1991 in response to increased concerns and awareness of the rise in homelessness in Warrington, especially over the Christmas period.

In recent years we have seen a large increase in the number of people who are lonely or isolated over Christmas and as a result, WODAC now opens its doors to everyone.

We are run completely by volunteers who help to offer refreshments, meals, toiletries, friendship and social activities. We also provide our guests with food parcels and good quality warm clothing such as hats and gloves.

Click the read more button below to read more about who we help, why we help, how we help and, how you can help.

Being a voluntary community project WODAC completely relies on support by donations. Click the donate button now to see how you can help spread a little cheer at this amazing time of year.

There is always a need for volunteers as the project over Christmas has many tasks which need to be carried out on a daily basis. Click here to find out how you can become one of this years volunteers.

Our aim is to offer a warm and welcoming environment to all those who are homeless, isolated or vulnerable at this often difficult time of year.
